The app · 01Harbour Stations
The manoeuvre, before the moment.
Harbour Stations is where the plan is made. Pick the berth and which side she lies, choose the boat, rig the lines, decide who goes ashore and in what order the ropes go on. Everything the crew needs to hear before the engine is started is decided here, on the iPad, at the kitchen table.
What you do hereFour decisions
01The berthAlongside, box between piles, stern-to, or rafted up. Which side she lies, and how much room is astern.
02The boatFrom the library or your own build — length, draught, windage, the drive she has and how she behaves in reverse.
03The linesBow line, stern line, springs. Each rope to a fitting: pick the cleat, the app draws the rope, and tells you when it leads nowhere useful.
04The peopleWho steps ashore, who takes which line, and the order it all happens in — the briefing, written down.
